Audio from the Humboldt Broncos’ last game of 2017-18 is now up online.

On an overall gloomy day in Saskatchewan, when lawyers were in court getting the $50,000 interim payments approved for families of the Humboldt Broncos‘ crash victims, I notice audio has been posted of the Broncos’ last game before the collision.

The audio is from the April 4 playoff game with the Broncos hosting the Nipawin Hawks. It would turn out to be one of the most exciting and, ultimately, one of the most famous games in the entire history of the SJHL, with the Hawks winning 6-5 in triple overtime to put them up 3-1 in the best of seven series.

The whole game audio is up online now, and just tuning in to some of it gave me the chills — so much so that I finally had to turn it off, it was too emotional listening to it. RIP Tyler Bieber.
