South Korean president leaves office after impeachment vote

Increasingly, I am finding myself more interested in the news going on in the rest of the world — which makes sense because the events in the rest of the world are more interesting than what usually goes on in boring Canada.

Another country that is normally about as dull as Canada is is South Korea. It’s usually their northern neighbours that are the interesting ones.

Not today. Their president Park Geun-hye has been impeached in a corruption scandal, and has left office. The story about it here.
